£38,000 in less than 2 years
The Dementia Friendly Parishes around the Yealm Project Committee formed in 2010 from representatives from the 5 parishes of Brixton, Yealmpton, Wembury, Holbeton, Newton & Noss together with representatives from voluntary organisations has raised over £38,000 for this 2 year project which started in November 2012.
5 Parish Council grants
Grants have been received from the 5 Parish Councils, , from Devon County Councillor John Hart, and Devon Adult Services, from South Hams Sustainable Community Locality Fund allocated by District Councillors John Squire, Lindsay Ward, Basil Cane and Keith Baldry, South Hams District Council TAP Fund, The Brixton Feoffee Trust; The Tudor Trust and the Marjorie and Geoffrey Jones Trust.
The Committee have also received other individual donations.
